Graduate of Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Herve Douchy cellist, specialize in early music, after his debut in the orchestra of the RTBF. He participates as such to many concerts and recordings of La Petite Bande and other orchestra,such as Agrémens, Akademia, Stuttgart Baroque Orchestra.

He occurs as a continuo player in Belgium and abroad in many ensembles including mainly Poem Harmonique, Il Gardelino, La Pastorella ...

He is a founding member of the baroque orchestra "Les Agrémens" and has contributed to its development through many productions and recordings.

He also teaches chamber music at the Royal Conservatory of Mons and the former cello at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
